The Waverly Heights Foundation was established in 1990 with a simple yet powerful purpose – to provide a vehicle for residents and others to make financial contributions for the purpose of enhancing and ensuring the quality of life at Waverly Heights.

The Foundation has been able to provide financial assistance to residents, educational support to employees, and make improvements to the Waverly Heights campus through the generosity of many donors. The Board of Trustees of Waverly Heights oversees the funds that are contributed and is responsible for their investment and distribution.

The Foundation offers four distinct funds:

  • Residents’ Assistance
    • To assist residents with demonstrated financial need
  • Campus Improvement
    • To enhance the appearance and operation of Waverly’s campus
  • Employees’ Assistance
    • To provide professional and educational opportunities for employees and to assist in times of need
  • The Margarett F. McKeel Family Educational Endowment
    • To provide financial support to employees in pursuit to become a nurse

“A gift to the Foundation holds the power to create a better life for everyone today and tomorrow.”

Contributions to the Foundation are tax deductible as charitable contributions, since Waverly Heights is classified as a 501(c)(3) organization and is registered in Pennsylvania as a Purely Public Charity. All contributions will be acknowledged in writing.
